* The
2015 chart reproduced the appearance of the 2005 chart with minor changes to the wording and layout. There were two versions of the IPA chart dated
2018 and
2020 which were identical to the 2015/2005 revision with updated years and copyright symbols. Since 2025, the IPA chart is
re-issued annually with a note at the bottom of the chart about the latest revision (“IPA chart revised to 2015/2005”) and updated copyright year and symbols at the top of the chart.
